We have all studied about India’s struggle against the British and the Indian independence movement in detail in school. The major leaders and their activities are well documented and known by most of us. However, India is a large country with a number of districts and towns with remote access considering the modes of communication in the 1800s and early 1900s. Though the Independence movement was a nationwide affair, each of these regions had struggles of their own that they had to overcome. There were a number of revolutionaries who fought against the British locally and their stories also deserve to reach the masses.
This section focuses on those regional patriots who have fought hard for their land and established local associations to go against the British. Gurus can refer to the information here for conducting the classes on this topic.
