Buddha Jayanti, also known as Buddha Poornima , is the most sacred festival of Buddhism. It falls on the full moon of the fourth lunar month Vaisakh i.e. during the month of May. This day commemorates three important events in Buddha’s life: His birth, His enlightenment i.e. attainment of supreme wisdom and His attainment of Nirvana i.e. his passing away at the age of 80.

To cultivate Love like Buddha in the tender hearts of Balvikas children, it is imperative to do some Sadhana by listening to the divine discourses, Buddhist Prayers and stories. This section gives you a deep insight into this festival. Also packed with a variety of Activities that helps Balvikas Gurus and children to celebrate the festival with full vigour.
