Jesus took human birth to arouse in all people the awareness of their inner divinity. His main teachings were to spread love for god and other fellow men.
Swami said that Jesus taught simple, practical lessons and supported it through his own example of compassion and love, demonstrating how we can cultivate these divine qualities. Stories of Jesus’ birth, and other stories can be narrated by the teacher in class. They can be covered as a part of the syllabus during Christmas time and can be planned along with other Christmas activities.
