Narayaneeyam is a medieval Sanskrit text that comprises a summary study of the Bhagavata Purana which is a major Hindu scripture that has about 18,000 verses mainly devoted to the worship of Lord Krishna. Narayaneeyam is truly a nectar that flows in a poetic form. It was composed by Melputhur Narayana Bhattathiri, a great poet from Kerala. The day on which Narayaneeyam was completed is celebrated as “Narayaneeyam Day” in Guruvayur. We are thrilled to share a one-of-a-kind Rangoli that depicts the things Lord Krishna who is also fondly called as Lord Guruvayoorappan, holds in His hands. The peacock feather that Krishna wears on his hair has also been beautifully crafted!
