Significance of Aayudha Puja
The Navaratri festival is observed by contemplating on God for ten days, cleansing one’s self of all impurities to experience the Divinity within. The penultimate day of the festival is dedicated to what is termed “Aayudha Puja” (Worship of weapons). The weapons to be worshiped are the divine powers in Man. When the Divine is worshipped in this way, one is bound to progress spiritually. (Ref : Sai Baba, SS, 11/94, p. 291).
With this promise from Swami, let us welcome eighth day of Navaratri with stunning Veena kolams and recaptualization of golu dolls.
ஆயுத பூஜையின் முக்கியத்துவம்
ஒவ்வொருவரும், தன் மனதில் உள்ள அழுக்குகளை அகற்றி, தன்னுள் இருக்கும் தெய்வீகத்தை உணரும் பொருட்டு, தொடர்ச்சியாக பத்து நாட்கள் இறைச் சிந்தனையிலேயே மனதைச் செலுத்தி, நவராத்திரி பண்டிகைக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. நவராத்திரியின் நிறைவு தினத்திற்கு முந்தைய தினம், “ஆயுத பூஜை” (ஆயுதங்கள் வழிபாடு) என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. மனிதனிடம் உள்ள தெய்வீக சக்தியே வழிபடவேண்டிய ஆயுதங்கள். அங்ஙனம் ஒருவருடைய தெய்வீகம் வழிபடப்படும் பொழுது, அவன் ஆன்மீக முன்னேற்றம் பெறுவான்.

சாய் வாக்கு சத்திய வாக்கு என்றுணர்ந்த நாம், பகவான் கூறிய வழியில் ஆயுத பூஜையைக் கொண்டாடுவோம். வீணைக் கோலத்தையும், அழகிய கொலு பொம்மைகளின் அணிவகுப்பையும் கண்டு களிப்போம்.
