முத்து மயில் கோலம்
இந்தியாவின் சிறப்பு பாரம்பரியமும், பண்பாடும். நம் தேசியப் பறவை மயிலின் சிறப்பு நடனமும், அழகும். ஈர மாவும், செம்மண்ணும் கலந்து வரையப்படும் பாரம்பரிய இழை கோலத்தில் அழகிய மயிலைக் கண்டு களிப்போம்! ஆங்காங்கே காணப்படும் வெண் முத்துக்கள், அழகுக்கு அழகூட்டுகின்றன. முதல் அத்தியாயத்தின் 13வது ஸ்லோகம் பயின்று, குருக்ஷேத்திரத்தை அகக் கண்ணில் காண்போம்!
ततः शङ्खाश्च भेर्यश्च पणवानकगोमुखाः ।
सहसैवाभ्यहन्यन्त स शब्दस्तुमुलोஉभवत् ॥ 1.13 ॥
tatah shankaash cha bheryash cha panavaanaka-gomukhaah
sahasaivaabhyahanyanta sa shabdastumulo bhavat || 1.13 ||

பிறகு சங்குகளும், பேரிகைகளும், தம்பட்டங்களும், பறைகளும், கொம்புகளும் திடீரென்று முழங்கின. அது பேரொலியாயிருந்தது.
