கிறிஸ்துமஸ் தின வாழ்த்துக்கள்!
கிறிஸ்துமஸ் தாத்தா, ஜிங்கிள் பெல்ஸ் மற்றும் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் பாடலுடன் இந்த இனிய நாளை இனிதே கொண்டாடுவோம்! கிறிஸ்துமஸ் சிறப்பு வண்ணக் கோலங்களால் நம் வீட்டு வாயிலை அலங்கரித்து, அன்பெனும் ஒளியை அகிலமெங்கும் பரப்புவோம் !பகவத் கீதை முதல் அத்தியாயத்தில், குருக்ஷேத்திர யுத்த களத்தில், மாவீரர்கள் பலரும் முழங்கும் சங்க நாதத்தைப் பற்றி விளக்கும் 16,17 மற்றும் 18 வது ஸ்லோகங்களைப் பயில்வோம்!
अनन्तविजयं राजा कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ।
नकुलः सहदेवश्च सुघोषमणिपुष्पकौ ॥1.16॥
anantavijayam raajaa kuntee-putro yudhishthirah
nakulah sahadevashcha sughosha-manipushpakau ||1.16||
King Yudhishtira, the son of Kunti, blew the Anantavijaya, Nakula and Sahadeva blew the Sughosha and Manipushpaka conches respectively.
அனந்தவிஜயம் ராஜா குந்தீபுத்ரோ யுதிஷ்டிர:
நகுல ஸஹதேவஶ்ச ஸுகோஷமணிபுஷ்பகௌ ||1.16||
குந்தியின் புதல்வன், ராஜா யுதிஷ்டிரன் அனந்த விஜயம் என்ற சங்கையும், நகுலனும், சஹாதேவனும் சுகோஷம், மணிபுஷ்பகம் என்ற சங்குகளையும் ஊதினார்கள்.
काश्यश्च परमेष्वासः शिखण्डी च महारथः ।
धृष्टद्युम्नो विराटश्च सात्यकिश्चापराजितः ॥1.17॥
kaashyash cha paramesh-waasah shikhandee cha mahaa-rathah
dhrishtadyumno viraatashcha saatyakish-chaa-paraajitah||1.17||
The king of Kasi, an excellent archer, Sikhandi, the mighty chariot-warrior, Dhrshtadyumna, Virata and Saatyaki, the unconquered.
காஶ்யஶ்ச பரமேஷ்வாஸ: ஶிகண்டீ ச மஹாரத:
த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னோ விராடஶ்ச ஸாத்யகிஶ்சாபராஜித:||1.17||
விற்படையில் தலைசிறந்த காசிராஜனும், மகா ரதிகனான சிகண்டியும், திருஷ்டத்யும்னனும், விராட தேசத்தரசனும், பிறரால் வெல்லப்படாத சாத்யகியும்.
द्रुपदो द्रौपदेयाश्च सर्वशः पृथिवीपते ।
सौभद्रश्च महाबाहुः शङ्खान्दध्मुः पृथक्पृथक् ॥1.18॥
drupado draupadeyaash cha sarvashah prithivee-pate
saubhadrash cha mahaa-baahuh shankhaan dadhmuh prithak prithak ||1.18||
Drupada and the sons of Draupadi, O Lord of the earth, and the son of Subhadra, the mighty armed, blew their respective conches.
த்ருபதோ த்ரௌபதேயாஶ்ச ஸர்வச: ப்ருதிவீபதே
ஸௌபத்ரஶ்ச மஹாபாஹு: ஶங்கான் ததமு: ப்ருதக் ப்ருதக் ||1.18||
மண்ணாள்பவனே! துருபதனும், திரௌபதியின் புதல்வர்களும், தோள்வலிவுடையவனாகிய சுபத்திரையின் மகனும் ஆக எல்லாரும் தனித் தனியே சங்குகளை ஊதினார்கள்.
