Trividham narakas yedam dwaaram naashana maatmanaha
Kaama(h)krodhas tathaa lobhaha tasmaadetat trayam tyajet ||16.21||
Meaning: Passion, wrath and greed constitute the three fold gate to hell, that brings ruin upon the self. (One has to face the consequences of lust, anger and greed now and here and also hereafter). Therefore one should abandon these three.
