நம் இதயத்தில் உறைபவள் லக்ஷ்மி தேவி. வாக்கில் உறைபவள் சரஸ்வதி. செய்யும் செயலுக்கு அதிபதி துர்கா. எவர் ஒருவருக்கு இம்மூன்றிலும் ஒற்றுமை இருக்கிறதோ, அவரே உன்னத மனிதர் ஆவார். ஆகையால், மனிதன் அறியாமையை அகற்றி, சிறந்த மனிதனாக வாழ்வதற்காகவே, இந்த நவராத்திரி பண்டிகைத் துவங்கப்பட்டது.
வண்ணக் கோலத்தில் காட்சி தரும் ஏழு மலையானை மனதில் நிருத்தி, அழகிய கிருஷ்ணன் ருக்மணி பொம்மையையும் கண்டு களிப்போம்.
